About me
I have had a life-long interest and involvement in the field of personal growth and in supporting others in their own healing and exploration. I have been providing counselling and therapy for nearly two decades and I am now co-director of a new therapy centre just off Whiteladies Road, Bristol called Fulcrum House. My earlier career in industry provided me with an intimate understanding of the problems and conflicts inherent in balancing the world of work with family responsibilities and the need to recover from stress. I trained and worked for several years as a Cruse bereavement counsellor, undertook a European training course in Radix bodywork in Athens, trained with Babette Rothschild both in Danish 'Bodynamic Psychotherapy' and in Trauma (PTSD) Work, and hold a Diploma in Body Psychotherapy from the Chiron Centre, in West London. I also have several years experience of addicitions counselling. I am a full registered member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
